China’s iron ore production climbs in Jan-Oct

According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, China produced a total of around 825.8 million tons of iron ore in the first ten months of this year, rising by 7.8% compared to the year-ago period.

The iron ore output in October amounted to approximately 86.4 million tons, up by 2.5% month on month and by 30% year on year.

The import prices during the period showed an overall upward trend, and the prices are also increasing this month.
