China’s Lingyuan successfully develops steel for automobile front axle

Recently, the 42CrMoA-HQD customized developed by China’s Lingyuan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd has passed all tests, which marked Lingyuan achieving on automobile front axle steel. The 42CrMoA-HQD is a personalized protocol product used in automobile forgings manufacturing.
There is a strict requirement for a quenching degree. It needs to be ensured of little deformation, without cracking inside or outside, with qualified surface flaw detection. Based on the actual production capacity, Lingyuan adopted a narrow range of chemical composition control, and LF+RH vacuum refining process. This successful development deepens the long-term cooperation between Lingyuan and its customers.
