As of September 29, China’s social inventory of primary aluminum totaled 619,000 tons, decreasing by 47,000 tons from last Thursday, by 57,000 tons from August, and by 198,000 tons from the same period last year.

From the previous week, due to the approaching National Day holiday, the market started to stockpile for demand, so the delivery from stock increased. The inventory of primary aluminum ingots has fallen for two consecutive weeks. The total inventory this week dropped to a four-year historical low for the same period, coming to 619,000 tons.
