China's seamless pipe prices to possibly remain stable

The price level of seamless pipe remained stable in most of the markets in Shandong yesterday (July 7).
In the Liaocheng market, some sizes of large-scale seamless pipes were not available in stock. Since most steel factories were in their inspection and maintenance, it was considered that the price level has been sustained at the moment.
However, the mills hold different thoughts on how to do business in the current period. Some of the tube mills decided to attract orders by discounts. The competition between mills were fierce, while the traders said that the market was still slowly digesting the stock.
