China's stainless steel exports to India statistics

In December 2020, China's domestic stainless steel exports to India amounted to about 32,000 tons, up by 7.2% month on month and also rising by 256.3% from the same month in 2019.
The volume of exports to India has reached five consecutive months of growth, a cumulative increase of 19,700 tons, an increase of 158.75%.
The total volume of Chinese stainless steel exports to India in 2020 was about 205,500 tons.
In recent years, India has imposed anti-dumping (AD) duties on imports of stainless steel in order to protect the development of local steel companies. Therefore, the total volume of stainless steel exports from China to India was on a downward trend.
