China’s stainless steel & ferronickel imports from Indonesia grow in Mar

According to statistics, China imported around 194,000 tons of stainless steel from Indonesia in March this year, dropping by 31.35% compared to the previous month while rising by 29.42% from the same month a year ago.

In the first quarter, the imports of stainless steel from Indonesia amounted to roughly 813,000 tons, up by 9.12 times year on year.

In terms of ferronickel, China imported around 430,000 tons in March, of which approximately 387,000 tons were from Indonesia, a month-on-month increase of 35.95% and a year-on-year hike of 39.21%.
