China's stainless steel output increases in Q2 2021

China's stainless steel output amounted to around 16.24 million tons, increasing by 20.82% from the same period a year ago.

Among them, the output of Cr-Ni stainless steel (300 series) accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 7.71 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 17.02%, and its share slid by 1.54% year on year to 47.48%.

During the same period, China’s apparent consumption of stainless steel was approximately 13.88 million tons, a year-on-year hike of 24.2%.
