According to the market in China, the current futures of rebar and hot-rolled coil (HRC) in China were both faced weak currently, mainly due to the over-supply situation.

Affected by the off-peak season, the current demand in the downstream of China on rebar and HRC was not strong enough for steel mills to increase the prices, and the market evaluated that the supply was hard to decrease in the short-term.

Based on that, the market was looking forward to the stimulating policy from the government and wished the demand in the market could resume as soon as possible.
