China's steel market showed a trend of falling first, then rising, and then fluctuating downward in February. In March, the spot price of raw materials, such as coking coal and coke, will rebound in stages, and the steel spot price will be stronger than futures.

The short-term demand is still weak in March, and the transaction of construction steels is difficult. Futures rebound a lot in stages, which increased pressure on the overall steel market.

However, the seasonal demand was expected to be released in March, and the export of construction steels will also improve in late March. Steel mills’ cost pricing was predicted to push up spot prices. The overall steel market in China was forecasted to rebound further this month.
