China’s steel products exports grow in H1

According to data from China’s customs, in June, the country’s steel products exports reached about 8.75 million tons, decreasing by 9.2% month on month. During the same month, the steel product imports amounted to 575,000 tons, dropping by 9.7% compared to the previous month.

In the first six months, China exported around 53.4 million tons of steel products, marking a 24% increase compared to the same period of the previous year. Meanwhile, the imports were 3.62 million tons, reflecting a 3.3% year-on-year decrease.
