China’s unwrought aluminum alloy imports & exports statistics in Oct, Jan-Oct

According to statistics from China Customs, China’s imports of unwrought aluminum alloy totaled 118,000 tons in October this year, increasing by 1.4% compared to the previous month and also hiking by 10.3% from the same month a year ago. The imports amounted to approximately 906,000 tons in the first ten months of this year, a year-on-year decrease of 12.8%.
In October, China’s export volume of unwrought aluminum alloy was 10,900 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 34.8% and a year-on-year drop of 39.7%. The cumulative export volume from January to October reached nearly 130,000 tons, down by 24.3% year on year.
China imported nearly 140,000 tons of primary aluminum in October 2021.
