China’s unwrought aluminum & aluminum products imports surge in Jan-Oct

According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, China imported around 2.39 million tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products from January to October, surging by 413.26% compared to the same period a year ago.
During the same period, China’s total unwrought aluminum and aluminum products exports amounted to roughly 3.98 million tons, a year-on-year reduction of 17%.
As of October, China’s net exports reached roughly 1.59 million tons, dropping by 2.75 million tons year on year.
