Chinese aluminum output increases in Apr

According to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS), the output of 10 major non-ferrous metals in China totaled around 4.93 million tons in April 2020, up by 3.8% compared to the same month a year ago; that in the first four months of this year amounted to approximately 19.1 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.6%.

Besides, the statistics also showed that Chinese output of aluminum was around 2.97 million tons in April, rising by 1.5% year on year; that in the period from January to April reached roughly 11.8 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%.
