Chinese iron ore price index rises on Aug 6

According to the data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was 425.35 points on August 6, which was up by 1.38% or 5.79 points compared with the previous CIOPI on August 5.

The domestic iron ore price index was 362.60 points, keeping flat compared to the previous price index; the import iron ore price index was 437.21 points, hiking by 1.60% or 6.89 points from the previous one.
