Chinese seamless pipe market to be optimistic

China's seamless pipe market was pessimistic during an off-season in May. Most of the pipe mills didn't gain many orders. Meanwhile, most mills accelerated the consumption of pipe inventories, but the pressure on the stocks was still high. As of May, stocks of sample seamless pipe manufacturers in China were about 699,000 tons, decreasing by 3.5% month on month.
However, with entering June, the confidence in the market gradually increased, and the black metal prices grew obviously. Therefore, the seamless pipes market was expected to be strong.
