Steel prices in the global market bottomed out at the end of February, coupled with tight supply in Europe, boosting the price trend higher in March.

Chung Hung steel assessed that prices in Asia have rebounded and demand has also recovered, reflecting its offer in March and April to rise sharply for domestic and export sales.

Chung Hung steel's March delivery is about to reach the planned target of 200,000 tons, an increase of 28.2% from February. Its domestic sales in March accounted for 55%, and export sales accounted for 45% mainly in Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia.

Due to sales booming in the domestic market, Chung Hung Steel has increased the proportion of domestic sales to 60% to meet the needs of downstream industries.

In addition, owing to the strengthening of domestic demand in April and the possible increase in export orders from Europe, Chung Hung Steel's orders continued to be booming in April.
