Colombia initiates AD investigation on galvanized & galvalume profiles from China

Colombian Ministry of Foreign Trade issued on September 2, 2020 to launch an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on China’s imports of alloy and non-alloy steel profiles in galvanized and galvalume sheets with thicknesses equal to or less than 0.46 mm.

The probe was started based on a complaint filed by domestic companies CONSORCIO METALÚRGICO NACIONAL S.A.S. and MANUFACTURAS S.A.S.

The products involved are under tariff subheading 7216.61.00.00, 7216.69.00.00, 7216.91.00.00, 7216.99.00.00, and 7228.70.00.00.
