Colombia’s crude steel production down in Jan

According to statistics from Colombia’s Committee of Steel Producers (ANDI-CPA), the country’s crude steel production totaled around 101,200 tons in January this year, rising by 2.2% compared to the previous month while falling by nearly 9% from the same month a year ago.

During the period, Colombia’s long finished steel production was around 105,700 tons, a month-on-month hike of 6.4% and a year-on-year drop of 5.5%.
