Columbia's ferronickel & steel products exports hike in Feb

According to data from Colombia's National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE), in the first two months, Columbia's ferronickel exports were about 23,000 tons, slightly decreasing by 4.6% year on year. The export value reached about US$71.03 million, a year-on-year decrease of 50.2%.

During the same period, the country's steel product exports reached around 38,000 tons, growing by 15.1% from the corresponding period a year ago. The export value amounted to US$105 million, decreasing by 36.3% from the same period last year.

In February alone, the ferronickel exports from Columbia amounted to about 10,000 tons, hiking by 50.3% from the same month a year ago. The export value was US$31.5 million, dropping by 25.4% year on year. Meanwhile, the exports of steel products reached about 22,000 tons, soaring by 104.4% year on year.
