Constellium SE, a France-based rolled aluminum producer, announced on February 4 that it planned to invest and expand the European aluminum recycling capacity, including an increase of 60,000 tons in the recycling capacity, focusing on the use of recycled materials to make aluminum slabs, which will be applied to Constellium’s automotive and packaging business in Europe.

Constellium expected to finalize the location of the project by the end of 2021, and the project was predicted to be put into operation within two years after starting the construction.
