Crown plans to build new beverage can plant in Brazil

Crown Holdings, Inc., a leading packaging supplier based in the US, announced that its Brazilian subsidiary Crown Embalagens will build its sixth beverage can processing plant in Brazil, which will have two production lines to produce two-piece aluminum cans in different sizes.

The two lines were planned to start production in the second quarter and the fourth quarter of next year.

The new plant will be located in Minas Gerais, Southeastern Brazil. It was aimed to meet the growing demand for beer and soft drink cans.
