Czech producers welcome EU’s AD duty on China’s aluminum extrusions

According to a survey, Czech aluminum producers and processors welcomed the EU's provisional anti-dumping (AD) duty, in a range of 30.4%-48.0%, on China’s aluminum extrusions.

Some experts warned that this measure may raise Czech’s aluminum prices. However, it was also pointed out that the Czech Republic’s aluminum imports from China only accounted for less than 5% of total imports. Therefore, the potential price increase was expected not to significantly impact the domestic industry.
