Danieli Breda will provide two new steel extrusion lines for manufacturing seamless pipes, meeting the rising demand for stainless steel and corrosion-resistant alloy pipes. These pipes serve the oil and gas, chemical, food processing, and automotive sectors.

China’s Zhejiang Jiuli Hi-Tech Metals has ordered a 20-MN steel extrusion plant, building on previous Danieli investments. This line will produce seamless stainless steel pipes from 33 to 68 mm in diameter, with wall thicknesses between 3 and 8 mm.

Separately, Stella Metal & Tubes in Gujarat, India, selected Danieli Breda for a 20-MN steel extrusion plant, producing pipes of the same dimensions.

Both facilities will feature extensive robotics and 3D vision systems for tool management and quality control, ensuring high product consistency with extrusion cycles under 60 seconds.

Commissioning for both plants is expected for 2026.
