DECO Australia, a manufacturer of aluminum building materials, signed a partnership agreement with aluminum extruder Capral Aluminium to transit all of its Capral aluminum extrusion purchases to LocAl® Green, Capral’s lower-carbon aluminum. The agreement is a major step of DECO Australia toward reducing carbon emissions.

DECO Australia will start receiving LocAl® Green lower-carbon aluminum from June 2023.

LocAl® Green is manufactured with lower-emission energy sources, and it can reduce the embodied energy of aluminum products by up to 50% compared to the global average for primary aluminum.
