EAEU starts AD sunset review on aluminum strip imports from China, Azerbaijan

On June 30, 2025, the Department for Internal Market Defence of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) initiated its first anti-dumping (AD) sunset review investigation concerning aluminum strip imports from China and Azerbaijan, following an application submitted by an industry association within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
The sunset review is to determine whether the revocation of existing AD measures would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury to the domestic industry.
In effect from October 24, 2020, to October 23, 2025, the AD duty rate is 13.14% for China and 16.18% for Azerbaijan.
The products involved are under EAEU tariff codes 7606 11 910 0, 7606 12 200 3, 7606 12 200 8, 7606 12 920 3, and 7606 12 920 8.
