Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) reported on its official website that the company had signed an agreement with Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden). The two companies will explore cooperation in the development of aluminum smelting technology and will also consider collaboration in the management of by-products and recycling of aluminum in the process of the aluminum value chain.

EGA has developed its own aluminum smelting technology for over 25 years. Ma'aden operates the world's largest and most efficient vertically integrated aluminum plant in Ras Al Khair on the east coast of Saudi Arabia.

The agreement was to expand their exploration of potential collaborations in aluminum value chain technologies.
