Egyptalum sets EGP 13.71 billion profit target for FY25/26

Egypt Aluminum (Egyptalum), the largest aluminum producer in Egypt, is setting its goal on net profits of EGP 13.71 billion for the fiscal year 2025/2026, following the recent approval of its estimated budget by shareholders.

The company's ordinary general meeting also approved a capital budget totaling EGP 5.91 billion.

In March, Egyptalum signed a power purchase agreement with Norwegian renewable energy solutions provider Scatec ASA for a major solar energy project in Egypt, including a 1.1 GW solar power plant and a 100 MW/200 MWh battery energy storage system.
