According to statistics from Egypt’s Export Council for Building Materials, Refractory & Metallurgy Industries (ECBM), in the first ten months of 2021, Egypt’s export value of aluminum and its products grew by 44% to US$635 million, hitting the record high, compared to US$442 million in the same period a year ago.

During the period, Egypt exported aluminum and its products to 74 countries and regions, of which 17 countries and regions were new in 2021.

Italy was the largest importer of Egypt’s aluminum products, followed by Spain, Germany, the US, and Morocco.
