European Aluminium urges European Commission to impose tariffs on China’s aluminum imports from Oct

European Aluminium, an industry association representing the aluminum industry in Europe, recently said that Europe originally planned to impose tariffs on imported aluminum flat-rolled products from China from October, while the imposition was proposed to postpone by nine months.

Gerd Götz, Director General at European Aluminium, pointed out that this proposal will cause mixed results and lead to a disruption of market order, so the association called on the European Commission not to revoke this tariff.
