Evraz North America operates an electric arc furnace (EAF) mill in Pueblo, Colorado, a plate mill in Portland, Oregon, an electric arc furnace (EAF) facility in Regina, Saskatchewan, and and multiple pipe facilities across Canada.
Evraz North America's announcement comes after integrated steelmaker Cleveland-Cliffs increased prices the morning of 13 March by $100/st and set a HRC price minimum of $1,200/st. EAF steelmaker Nucor increased plate prices on the same day by $50/st, while EAF competitor SSAB Americas also raised plate prices by $80/st.
