German crude steel production rises in Oct

According to the data from the German Steel Federtion (WV Stahl), the production of German crude steel totaled around 3.4 million tons in October, hiking by 13.3% from the previous month and also up by 3.1% compared to the same month a year ago.

Among them, the output of blast furnace crude steel had a year-on-year increase of 1.3% to around 2.2 million tons, and that of electric arc furnace crude steel had a year-on-year growth of 6.6% to 1.2 million tons.

In the first ten months of this year, German crude steel output dropped by nearly 14% year on year, reaching approximately 29 million tons.
