Global alumina production slightly increases in Q3

According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global alumina production totaled around 35.68 million tons in the third quarter, a slight quarter-on-quarter increase of 1.22%.
Among them, China's alumina output was 20.76 million tons, up by 2.98% quarter on quarter and by 9.9% year on year. The production from Oceania was 4.85 million tons, down by 3.85% quarter on quarter and by 7.83% year on year.
In the first three quarters of this year, global alumina output amounted to approximately 104.12 million tons, keeping flat compared to the year-ago level.
