According to the market news, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) has predicted that the crude oil output would decrease by 200,000 barrels/day in 2021, came to 11.08 million barrels/day in the US.

Moreover, the influence of Hurricane Ida might be greater than the original expectation.

Stimulated by that news, the crude oil futures price for October on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased US$0.13/barrel on September 9th intraday, came to US$69.43/barrel; for November’s crude oil futures price on the Brent Crude also faced US$0.10/barrel increment, came to around US$72.7/barrel.
