Global crude steel output increases by 3.5% in Oct

According to the statistic from the World Steel Association (Worldsteel), the total output of crude steel in the world this October was around 161.9 million tons, increased by 3.5% month on month, and 7% year on year.

Among them, the total production of crude steel in Asia this October was around 120 million tons, increased by 10.4% year on year; the total output of crude steel in the EU-28 countries this October was around 12.6 million tons, decreased by 5.6% year on year.

Moreover, in North America, the total production of crude steel showed a 13.1% year on year decline, came to 8.5 million tons.
