Global primary aluminum production slides in Nov

According to statistics from the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global primary aluminum production totaled 6.04 million tons in November, falling by 3.1% compared to the previous month and growing by 3% from the same month a year ago.

In the month, the global average daily output of primary aluminum was 201,300 tons, slightly dropping by 0.1% from October.

The estimated output of China's primary aluminum was 3.609 million tons in November, down from 3.73 million tons in October. Production in other regions of Asia was 397,000 tons, falling from 408,000 tons in the previous month.

The primary aluminum production was 327,000 tons in North America, 133,000 tons in Africa, and 126,000 tons in South America.
