Global stainless crude steel production slide in Q1-Q3

According to statistics published by the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) on 17th of December, during the first 3 quarters of this year, the global production of stainless crude steel was totally 367.12 million tons, a reduction of 7.8% compared with the past year.

In the third quarter of this year, the global stainless crude steel production arrived at 13.557 million tons, an 17.5% increase compared with the past quarter. Meanwhile, the production of several regions, like Europe, the US, and China, appeared to be more than the previous quarter.

The production increase of the Asian area, excluding China, South Korea, and Indonesia, was 50.6%, while production of other regions increased by 25.1%.
