The 2,060mm cross-section stainless steel composite coil first developed by Handan Iron and Steel (Hansteel) was rolled off recently, which broke the record of the widest in China.
It was composed of two metal materials. The outer is carbon steel and the inner is stainless steel. That can be widely used in various industries, such as submarine pipelines, kitchen utensils, home appliances, construction, and automobiles.
The stainless steel composite coil with such width is available for mass production in some large-diameter coiled pipe factories, which can guarantee the strength and hardness of carbon steel and the corrosion resistance of stainless steel.
