Hind Aluminium posts lower net sales & net profit in Q2 FY23-24

India’s Hind Aluminium Industries Limited reported that its net sales reached INR 0.48 crore in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2023-24, rising by 26.32% from the previous quarter but plummeting by 65.96% from the year-ago level.

During the period, the net profit was INR 3.83 crore, a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 32.09% and a year-on-year decrease of 10.30%, due to decreased aluminum prices.

Meanwhile, the company’s EBITDA was negative at INR 2.72 crore, sharply dropping by 176.8% compared to the same period a year earlier.
