Hydro Extrusions has once again earned recertification under the ASI Performance Standard V3.1 following a rigorous audit by DNV Assurance Services UK Ltd. With this, the ASI certification number for Hydro now rests at 74. Valid through the end of May 2028, this milestone highlights Hydro's continued commitment to the responsible production, sourcing, and stewardship of aluminium.

The certification reaffirms sustainable practices across a wide range of activities, including aluminium ingot casting, coil and strip rolling, extrusion, fabrication, surface finishing of profiles, and aluminium tube manufacturing. Of the 74 production sites, 42 are in Europe, 25 are in North America, and the remaining facilities are located across South America (5 sites) and Asia (2 sites).

"Customers want suppliers that are reliable, responsible and forward thinking. This is more proof," said Executive Vice President of Hydro Extrusions, Paul Warton.

This global recognition reinforces Hydro Extrusions' position as a leader in sustainable aluminium solutions. Additionally, over three-quarters of Hydro Extrusions' sites are already certified under ASI's Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard. This standard outlines the requirements for establishing a verified chain of custody for CoC material, including ASI Aluminium, as it moves through the value chain and into downstream applications.
