After a four-day strike at Hydro Karmøy and Hydro Årdal started on April 17, the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO) and the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) have reached an agreement on a salary issue and decided to cancel the general strike.

The operations at the two facilities will resume normal and start to ship products to customers. The impact on the company’s financial performance and delays for customers would be limited.
