Hydro to expand Paragominas bauxite project in Brazil

Norwegian aluminum producer Norsk Hydro has announced its plan to invest BRL590 million in its Miltônia 5 project at the Paragominas bauxite mine in Brazil.
Hydro’s methodology of Tailings Dry Backfill will be used in this project. The project includes the construction of an access road and infrastructure to support operations, and it was expected to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2023.
