IAI: Global alumina output increases in Aug

According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), the output of alumina, one of the major raw materials for making aluminum, totaled around 11,400 tons in August this year, which was basically flat from the previous month while increasing by 2.7% compared to 11,079 tons in the same month a year ago.
Besides, the statistics showed that China’s alumina output amounted to approximately 5,900 tons in August.
