In Spec Japan’s Nippon Steel raises carbon steel pipe prices

Japan's Nippon Steel, the largest steelmaker in Japan, announced that it has decided to raise its prices of both carbon steel welded and seamless pipes by 10,000 yen/ton for September, applied in spot domestic sales.
This price adjustment was due to higher production costs the tighter supply.
