India’s Hindalco to get renewable power from Ayana Renewable Power

Ayana Renewable Power, an independent power producer in India, has reached a power purchase agreement with Hindalco Industries, an Indian aluminum and copper manufacturer, to supply 100MW of round-the-clock (RTC) renewable power to the company’s smelters in Odisha.

Ayana Renewable Power will develop 330MW of solar and wind power capacity and will cooperate with Greenko Energies, a renewable energy company, in the utilization of pumped hydro storage solutions, in order to provide the smelters with RTC renewable power.
