India’s Pondy Oxides & Chemicals to set up new aluminum recycling facility

Pondy Oxides & Chemicals Ltd., a leading producer of lead, lead alloys, and plastic additives in India, announced that it has planned to set up an aluminum recycling/ melting facility at its existing sites in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. The investment for plant construction and the introduction of machinery and pollution treatment equipment was estimated to be Rs 5 crore.
The project has been approved by the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board. The company is now actively installing relevant equipment and planned to start production in December this year, with an annual output of 14,750 tons of aluminum and aluminum alloy products.
