Indonesia’s bauxite producer TBJ to develop new bauxite mining area

PT Telaga Bintan Jaya (TBJ), a bauxite producer in Indonesia, planned to start to develop a new bauxite mining area at the end of December, according to sources.

This new bauxite mining area has estimated reserves of 10 million tons, with an annual production capacity of bauxite of approximately 2.4 million tons.

The production was expected to start by the end of this month, and the target output will be roughly 200,000 tons for January 2021.
