Iran’s aluminum ingot production hikes in Mar-Nov 2020

According to the latest statistics from Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation (IMIDRO), in the first eight months of the Iranian year (March-November 2020), Iran’s aluminum ingot production totaled around 271,000 tons, hiking by 52.2% compared to the same period a year ago.

Currently, Iran ranks 18th among global aluminum producers. With the production launch at new aluminum plants, Iran will improve its position and keep it at the 14th.

In addition, Iran planned to raise its annual aluminum ingot production to 1.5 million tons by March 2026.
