ISSF: Global stainless steel consumption to decline by nearly 7.8% in 2020

The International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) said that global stainless steel consumption was expected to reach 41.24 million tons this year, declining by 3.47 million tons or 7.8% year on year.

The sharp decrease was due to the huge impact on the global economy caused by the novel coronavirus epidemic.
