Ivory Coast’s LEB plans to export 300,000 tons of bauxite to China by end 2020

Lagune Exploitation Bongouanou (LEB), a mining company in Ivory Coast, reported that it has exported around 70,000 tons of bauxite to China so far this year, and it is now planning to totally export approximately 300,000 tons to China by the end of this year.

The mining company has a total of seven bauxite mining areas, one of which is under operation. These bauxite mines have an annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons.
