Japan's Furukawa Electric to build new aluminum wire plant to meet automotive industry demand

Japan's Furukawa Electric is planning to increase its production of aluminum wires used in automotive wiring harnesses to meet the growing demand from the automotive industry.

The company is exploring the feasibility of establishing a new production facility for aluminum wire production to ensure consistent supply and aims to commence operations by the fiscal year 2026.
